1/23/13 Yesterday when I was in Mrs. Hill's room, I noticed the children could not wait to "rotate" to the station w/the tablets. They appear to be eager to work on the tablets (Mrs. Hill had to redirect them twice to use walking feet and they were only 2 tables away from one another!). While on the tablets, the children are engaged and enjoying the learning.
The students love the tablets! There is always a "boss" in the group! We are working on sharing!
ReplyDeleteIn the afternoon when the students are packing up for dismissal, they are asking who is taking the tablets home.
ReplyDeleteMy children really are enjoying the tablets. Several of my tablets are not working. I hope we can get them fixed soon. Some of my children do not want to share, and sometimes this can cause trouble. We are also working on sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have noticed that several of my students enjoy playing the "piano" on the tablets.
ReplyDeleteMy children enjoy doing my first puzzles on the tablets.
ReplyDeleteYep! my class has found the piano too! They love it!
ReplyDeleteOne of my students showed me a recording that they had made at home using the tablet.
ReplyDeleteMy children love the piano and the videos. I've tried switching my partners but somehow always have some that can't share. However, some are doing great working together.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness the piano, they love it. The children are doing better with sharing the tablets.
ReplyDeleteI noticed several students drawing and one group was singing BINGO.
ReplyDeleteThe students had the tablets turned on within the first three minutes of seeing them for the first time. They love the tablets and would ask each day when they could play with them.
ReplyDeleteMy kids LOVE the tablets! They always want to know who's turn it is to take the tablets home! They really like the alphabet car game and the videos. It gets kinda loud in the classroom when everyone is playing at the same time and some of the children complain that they can't hear.
ReplyDeleteYesterday and today were a little calmer when they used the tablets. I change my groups daily but I always have one group with two powerful leaders! Today one child crossed her arms, stomped her feet and literally acted like a two year old. The other one used the bully tactic "I'm not going to be your friend if you don't let me have it!". But they love the tablets. They have really enjoyed taking them home.
ReplyDeleteToday I had to ask the students several times to use their tiny voices, because they get so excited when they are on the tablets.
ReplyDeleteThe children love the jukebox on the tablets. They love to sing and want me to sing with them.
ReplyDeleteToday I had a tablet to freeze up while it was trying to shut down.
ReplyDeleteI had another tablet to stop working. The students are still loving the tablets and can't wait to take them home.
ReplyDeleteI had a tablet to stop working.
ReplyDeleteThe students really love taking the tablets home.
The students really enjoy the tablets!
ReplyDeleteWhen I am loading kids in the afternoon they will get in the car and say - I got the tablet today! or today was not my day for the tablet - I hope tomorrow is!!
I have noticed that several of my students enjoy playing the "guitar" on the tablets.
ReplyDeleteMy children are still excited about the tablets. They can not wait until it is their day to take them home. They come in and say today is MY day to take the tablets home.
ReplyDeleteMy students really enjoy the tablets!
